History
UBA UK commenced wholesale banking operations in the UK on 19th March 2018. The bank is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the PRA.
UBA UK was originally established as a financial services firm in 1995 and was fully acquired by United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) in 2013.
Our parent company, UBA, is one of the oldest banks in Africa, dating back to 1949 with a presence in 20 African countries, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and France. Bilateral and structured funding arrangements for African banks, including secondary market risk participation and distribution to and from a network of international correspondent financial institutions.

Relationship management, facilitation of cross-border trade finance, treasury services and bilateral and structural funding arrangements.
